Our Process

Our rooflight repairs and replacement service follows a strict process to ensure the safety of our team and successful results for our clients:

1. Put up safety equipment

For safety and work efficiency, we erect scaffolding edge protection and internal fall arrest netting to allow our team access to the roof and prevent the risk of falling from height. The addition of staging boards will enable operatives to traverse the roof safely.

2. Replace or repair

If we are conducting replacements, we remove the existing rooflights into on-site skips, or we’ll take them away to be disposed of elsewhere. If repairing, we get the work done there and then, with any damaged parts put in the skips or taken away with us for disposal.

3. Install the rooflights

We install the new rooflights to the same profile as the existing roof system. This includes replacing all fixings and ensuring that the correct sealant is applied in line with the rooflight manufacturer’s guidelines for assured quality and longevity.

4. Final inspection and sign-off

After installation is complete, we carry out a final check to ensure the work meets our strict quality standards.
