Our Process

We follow a strict process to ensure a safe and successful asbestos roof replacement service:

1. Put up safety equipment

First, we erect scaffolding edge protection and internal fall arrest netting to allow our team safe access to the roof and prevent the risk of falling from height. The addition of staging boards will enable operatives to traverse the roof safely. We also install debris netting to prevent asbestos fibres and other objects from falling to the ground during the asbestos removal.

2. Remove old asbestos

In line with HSE guidelines, we remove the existing asbestos cement sheets and deposit them into on-site asbestos waste skips.

3. Install new roof sheets and fixtures

We then install the new roof sheets onto the existing portal frame and roof purlin system. These are most likely to be composite roof sheets to ensure the latest building requirements in relation to ‘U-Value’ are met. All required roof fixings and closure flashings are installed as standard as part of the new roof system.

4. Final inspection and sign-off

After installation is complete, we carry out a final check to ensure the work meets our strict quality standards.
