This extensive site in Ipswich was comprised of two separate industrial units. As you can see from the pictures above, both units needed entire preparation and re-coating work.
After completing a drone survey, the roofs were prepared to remove an old signs of delamination or corrosion, before being coated with 15-year Tor Coatings system, giving the site owners assurance about the longevity of the renovated roof. In these instances, replacing the roof would have been much more costly, and disturbance to the business higher, for a longer amount of time.
In order to assure the best, most even result, all exterior surfaces were thoroughly pressure washed, to remove all contamination and loose material. This process also allows us to expose any areas of corrosion or extensive delamination that would require extra attention in surface preparation before the coating could be applied.
As well as the cladding spraying of the walls and roof, the job wouldn’t have been complete without the re-coating of the roller shutters and windows too. This requires careful masking of the areas before applying a 10-year Tor Coating system to the roller doors, and an aluminium window paint to the windows.
