There were a number of difficult to access areas such as underneath air conditioning systems and other services, as well as issues with pipework, which was constantly dripping onto the roof. These problems provided a number of obstacles that needed to be addressed during the preparation and coating process.
A coating specification was provided by one of our preferred coating manufacturers, Tor-Coatings and the work was checked by a Tor-Coatings technical paint inspector at all stages of the job.
Despite a challenging level of repair, the work was completed successfully, using Tor-Coatings Elastaseal Z coating system with an anti-slip finish, providing a 25-year warranty, and peace of mind for Birds Eye that the long term integrity of the roof was secure.
