For the second year in a row, Cladspray Solutions have been included in the Financial Times’ prestigious FT1000 list, which ranks Europe’s fastest growing companies.
The report is compiled annually by the Financial Times along with research company Statista. This 7th edition of the annual report ranks the top 1,000 companies in Europe by percentage growth. It takes into consideration the three years revenue up to 2021, across all sectors in every European country.
Coming in at #365, this year’s inclusion feels especially marked considering the financial tightening in the UK currently. While the Eurozone at large has seen 2.4% growth in real GDP post-pandemic, the UK has fallen by 0.6%.
A special report to accompany this ranking, was published on March 21, and examines how sustainable that pace of growth is for some companies, and assesses the new pressures set to reshape the corporate landscape once again.
Representing the Construction Industry
We’re proud to be just one of only 5 UK Construction and Engineering businesses included in the list, with some impressive names making up the rest of the sector. 2021 was a strong year for the construction industry in the UK as the sector experienced a lift post-pandemic. New construction contracts in the UK experienced strong growth (15.3%) to £115,579 million, after a 15.9% fall to £100,199 million in 2020. Both the domestic and industrial markets saw a lift.
Clearly a buoyant market isn’t enough to guarantee growth, and we attribute our gains to a mix of factors; some key contracts contributed heavily to our overall revenue, and happily a number of those were repeat customers, attesting to our reputation as a company in both service and output.
We’d like to take this opportunity to give a massive thank you to our incredible team, customers, families and friends who made this possible.
