Our Process

The Cladspray team follows a streamlined fire protection process from the initial survey to final inspection, keeping you informed at every stage.

1. Clean and prepare the surface

We start by deep cleaning the surface to remove dust and debris from the timber to ensure the chosen product will adhere to the wood.

2. Apply the basecoat

Next, we apply the appropriate basecoat product to meet the required fire ratings: Class 1/0, Euro Class B, 30-minute or 60-minute.

3. Apply the topcoat

We then apply a layer of protective topcoat to seal the basecoat and provide long-tern durability.

4. Final inspection and customer walk-through

Once the work is complete, we conduct a detailed inspection of the coated timber and show the finished result to ensure you’re satisfied before sign-off.
