Why re-spray curtain walling?

There are two elements to curtain walling: the frame, usually aluminium, and its infills, predominantly made of glass. Both materials are costly to replace, and the associated labour even more so. 1. Plan the work to minimise disruption

Unlike structural replacement, curtain wall spraying doesn’t need to be disruptive. We schedule the work around your trading hours and operate with a discreet, efficient approach.

2. Prepare, clean, and degrease the surface

First, we carry out surface preparation by cleaning and degreasing all areas using a high-pressure wash down to remove dirt and contaminants.

3. Remove corrosion and repair damage

Any existing corrosion is removed, and damage is repaired, ensuring a stable substrate for the coating.

4. Apply the two-pack paint system

Once the frame is fully prepared, we apply a two-pack paint method, spray-painted onto your curtain wall using specialist equipment.

5. Protect glass and trimmings from overspray

Before spraying, we ensure all glass and other trimmings are carefully covered and protected to prevent overspray.

6. Final inspection and guarantee

A high standard of preparation allows us to guarantee our work, in most cases, for up to 15 years, giving you confidence in the long-term performance of the coating.
