Strategic Sales Manager
Brief intro:
We are currently looking for a Strategic Sales Manager to join our rapidly expanding team, on a fulltime permanent basis. Working alongside our sales and marketing teams. You will be responsible for identifying and converting new business, as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
This is a full-time, permanent position. This is a remote role with UK travel required. We’re offering a competitive salary, bonus scheme and company car package.

Main duties:
Actively seeking new business with the ability to negotiate and convert leads.
Proactively developing and managing sales strategies, alongside the marketing department.
Working to KPI’s and managing own workload efficiently to achieve wider business objectives.
Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients with the view to retain a strong retention rate.
Required skills:
Proven experience within the coatings industry, with strong technical knowledge
Self-motivated and driven
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel nationally
Industrial Coatings Applicator Supervisor
We are looking Industrial Paint Sprayers / Industrial Coatings Applicators who are reliable team players, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a keen eye for detail. You will need excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at all levels. You must also be willing to travel and to work out of hours including weekends.
Positions offered in Norwich and surrounding areas – although we work nationwide, so some contracts are further afield.
Your key responsibilities in this position are:
Expert Coating Application: Prioritise thorough surface preparation and apply coatings precisely to improve durability and appearance.
Safety Champions: Adhere to safety rules and regulations to establish a secure work environment.
Efficient Project Management: Effectively manage time, coordinate tasks with the team, and meet project deadlines.
Equipment Maintenance: Take care of tools and keep them in good condition.
Effective Communication: Share updates, clarify project requirements, and collaborate with colleagues to achieve successful project outcomes. Ensuring effective communication with clients.
You will already have or will quickly develop the following knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position:
Surface Preparation: Skilled in preparing surfaces for coatings using various methods like blasting, power tools, and solvents.
Coatings Knowledge: Understand different types of coatings, including application methods and thickness requirements.
Equipment Operation: Proficient in operating and maintaining equipment.
Safety and Compliance: Committed to promoting H&S and understanding legal responsibilities.
Quality Control: Experienced in inspecting coatings for thickness, uniformity, adhesion, and appearance using gauges, test equipment, and documentation.
Effective Communication: Skilled in clear and collaborative communication, addressing concerns, and maintaining professional relationships.
Project Management: Proficient in planning, resource management, risk management, quality assurance, problem-solving and documentation.
Hours / salary / benefits :
7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday
£28,000-£35,000 basic (depending on experience and qualifications)
Overtime at 1.5 x salary

Trainee Industrial Coatings Applicator

Equipment Maintenance: Take care of the tools and keep them in good condition.
Safety Awareness: Follow safety rules, wear protective gear, and handle materials in a safe manner.
Professional Conduct: Show respect, be dependable, and arrive on time.
Learning and Training: Learn from the ICA Supervisor, participate in training courses, and ask questions to improve on-site skills.
You will already have or will quickly develop the following knowledge, skills and abilities needed for this position:
Surface Preparation: Learn the proper techniques for cleaning, sanding, and priming surfaces to ensure that coatings adhere well and perform effectively.
Coatings Basics: Gain knowledge about different types of coatings, their properties, application methods, and curing processes.
Equipment Operation: Understand how to operate equipment and tools, including powered access equipment, required for the job.
Safety Procedures: Be familiar with safety rules, be able to recognise potential hazards, and know how to use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly to maintain a safe working environment.
Attention to Detail: Pay close attention to detail when it comes to masking (covering areas not intended for coating) and surface preparation to achieve high-quality results.
Communication Skills: Develop effective communication skills to seek guidance, ask questions, and collaborate with team members and supervisors efficiently.
